Faculty & Staff
The faculty of John F. Kennedy
Catholic School strives to maintain professionalism while promoting
academic excellence in a child-centered environment. Our
faculty is comprised of nineteen full time teachers, all of whom are
certified by both the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Diocese of
Pittsburgh. In addition, our teaching staff is supported by two
part-time teachers (Music and Physical Education), two pre-school
teachers, a full time aide, a remedial reading and math specialist, a
guidance counselor, a speech and language therapist and an instrumental
music instructor. All teachers have completed the continuing education
requirements under PA Act 48 of Continuing Education and are already
enrolled in classes to fullfill the next requirement. All members of
our Middle school faculty meet the requirements of Middle level
certification in their speciality area. and many have more than one
area of certification or specialization. Our adminstration office staff
includes the principal, business manager, and one secretary. The
cafeteria staff is comprised of a manager, one full time and two part
time personnel.
