We offer a full-day (8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) or a half-day (8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.) kindergarten
program. Enrollment in the all-day program provides
opportunities for expansion of the curriculum because there are fewer time
restraints. The afternoon schedule includes playtime and/or outdoor play,
when weather permits, and rest-time. Children who attend the all-day program eat lunch in the cafeteria and
have outdoor recess with the elementary grades.
The morning schedule for the half-day program is academically centered and very busy. The students follow the same curriculum
guidelines as the full-day program. A daily snack allows for some down time and socialization.
Both the half-day and the full-day programs are designed to meet the educational and
developmental needs of young children through a broad range of activities and hands-on learning
experiences.
