Age Requirements
- For Preschool, students must be 3 or 4 years old by September 1
- For Kindergarten, students must be 5 years old by September 1
- For First Grade, students must be 6 years old by September 1
Students entering kindergarten are requested to take a
readiness test. Based on the results, a child may be placed in a full-day or a
half-day program. Those studetns, registering for grades 1-8 must fulfill the
age requirements for the diesired grade.
The following documentation must be presented upon
registration
- Birth Certificate
- Immunization Records - it is mandated by the state of
Pennsylvania what all children present documented proof of immunizations.
Please check with your child's pediatrician to verify that all immunizations are
complete. The requirements are as
follows:
- 4 doses of DPT or DT (one dose must be given after the fourth
birthday)
- 3 doses of oral polio vaccine
- 2 doses of MMR (measles, mumps
rubella)
- 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine
- 1 dose of Varivax Vaccine (Chicken Pox) or
proof by phsician's letter of having Chicken Pox
disease

Proof of Parent Custody (Where applicable: Copy
of divorce decree or court ordered separation
agreement)
