JFK Preschool offers a one-of-a-kind early learning experience in a safe and secure environment. Our Preschool 4 Program continues to build strong foundations in academics, social skills, and faith—preparing children for a confident transition to kindergarten.
We recognize that every child learns differently, which is why our program encourages active learning in a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment.
Program Overview
Our Preschool 4 Program welcomes children who turn four years old by September 1st.
Students learn in an intimate classroom setting supported by a dedicated, caring, Pennsylvania-certified teacher and teacher’s aide. The program emphasizes kindergarten readiness while continuing to nurture the spiritual and academic growth that defines our educational mission.

Language Arts
Letter People Curriculum
A literacy-based program using 26 character puppets to teach letter recognition, sounds, and early decoding skills.
Heggerty Phonemic Awareness
A research-based program that builds essential pre-reading skills through identifying, manipulating, and blending sounds.
Handwriting Without Tears
Develops proper letter formation, fine motor control, pencil grip, and writing posture. Students learn to write uppercase and lowercase letters with confidence.
Religion & Faith Formation
Bible stories and Catholic teachings help children understand God’s love and develop their faith. Children are introduced to prayer, Catholic traditions, and moral values in an age-appropriate way.
Mathematics
Our hands-on mathematics curriculum encourages mathematical thinking through manipulatives, problem-solving, and real-world connections. Children explore number concepts, patterns, measurement, geometry, and calendar skills through engaging activities.
Badging Program
Our Badging Program highlights the skills taught throughout the year. Skills are assessed three times annually to ensure mastery by the end of the school year.
