JFK Catholic’s Student Government is a middle school extracurricular for students in grades 6–8 that focuses on leadership, service, and school involvement. Members work together to plan events, support the community, and grow as responsible leaders.
Student Government at JFK Catholic provides middle school students with meaningful opportunities to develop leadership skills while serving their school and community. Open to students in grades 6 through 8, the program emphasizes leadership, event planning, and building a strong sense of community throughout the school year.
Student Government members help organize and lead events such as social nights, school dances, prayer partner activities, Catholic Schools Week celebrations, and a fun end-of-year day. They also take responsibility for fundraising and charitable giving, including overseeing the school’s annual service project, which this year supports Mary’s Meals.
The group meets monthly for advisor-led lessons and planning sessions, allowing students to collaborate, share ideas, and grow in confidence. The overall goal of Student Government is to inspire young students to become thoughtful leaders who positively impact their community and develop into global citizens.
We donate each year to Found Warriors, Breast Cancer Awareness, Humane Society, Chimbote, and the JFK Scholarship Fund.
